Consent storage
Consent choices are stored in browser local storage with a consent version and timestamp. Updating the consent version will ask visitors to choose again. Saving or accepting optional categories currently records the choice but does not load an analytics or marketing integration.
Future optional tools
Before adding analytics, marketing, or another optional tracking tool, FinnAgent must update the consent version, document the tool, and verify that its scripts and storage remain blocked until the visitor makes a new choice.
Changing choices
Use the persistent Cookie settings link in the footer to accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or customize category choices.
Authentication and embedded widget storage
Authenticated app sessions use necessary session cookies and are not disabled by public-site consent choices; production configuration marks those cookies Secure. FinnAgent's embeddable chat widget can store functional conversation state and recent history in local storage on the customer site's origin after interaction. The customer site controls when the widget script loads and must align that loading and disclosure with its own consent policy. A tenant can choose memory-only mode. Clear chat removes widget state/history from that browser, but it does not automatically delete server-side support records.
